We need a committee of 4-5 people to manage the kitchen operations and coordinate events. This group will oversee kitchen usage, supervise meal preparation, set-up, break-down, and perform other necessary services for any food-related events held at LHC. This committee would be responsible for continuously shopping for, maintaining, and inventorying all necessary supplies, including those for specific events (if applicable). See Pastor Steve if you are interested.
Vacation Bible School will be held August 6th - 8th, 2026. If you are interested in volunteering for VBS, please see Mary or Jenn for details.
Cleaning
Volunteers are needed to clean the interior of the church each week. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board downstairs in Galbreath Hall.
Greeters
We are in need of greeters from 9:30am - 10:00am for our Sunday worship services. Contact Sharon Nulf at (410) 688-1480 for more information.
Kingdom Kids
We are in need of volunteers to assist with teaching Sunday School (ages 5 - 12) and Youth Church (ages 13 - 17). If you would like to assist with classes, please see Jenn, Mary, or Pastor Steve for more information.
Nursery and Childcare
During worship we offer a nursery for children under the age of 5, and during certain Bible studies we offer child care for children 12 and under. We are in immediate need of volunteers to help staff the nursery and provide child care each week to assure that we can continue to offer these resources to our families that worship with us. If you would like to assist, please see Sheryl Smith.
Visits and Compassionate Outreach
Visits, sending a card, or calling someone who is sick is a meaningful way to offer comfort, support, and personal connection during a vulnerable time. When individuals are unable to attend church due to illness or limited mobility, visits, cards, and calls ensure they remain cared for and remembered. These simple acts of kindness remind them that they are not alone and that their church family is thinking of them and praying for them.
Please continue reaching out to those in need on our prayer list or others in need in our community. Your compassion makes a difference and reflects the love and care we are called to share with one another.
